Put simply, Tasmanian schools and colleges are at breaking point and student learning is suffering as more educators seek to leave the profession for better working conditions elsewhere.

Mr Rockliff promised Tasmania would “lead the nation in education” by 2020, but instead teachers are burning out and students are missing out.

Teachers, principals and support staff have provided the Rockliff Government with the positive solutions our students, schools and colleges need – we just need them to listen and keep their promise with the investments required.
